Our client farms approximately 30,000 acres in Southern Saskatchewan around Weyburn, Regina, and Indian Head. As the AGRONOMY MANAGER you will be the agronomic expert on staff. You will create the annual cropping plan and monitor the crops in season. You will provide agronomic guidance on all things related to crop production including: soil preparation, crop nutrition, seeding, crop protection (weeds, disease and insects), crop staging, tracking and reporting.
To be considered you must have: Canadian prairie agronomic expertise and knowledge of prairie grain farming best practices.
In the slow season you may be asked to support on-farm recruitment. Therefore, recruitment experience is an asset but not a deal breaker.
