Our client is a regenerative agriculture inputs company focused on soil health through the production and distribution of biological and bio-stimulant products in Canada and the United States. The company has a commercial scale process for transforming food waste into seed treatments, soil supplements and plant stimulants. The products have been proven through field trials to improve crop yields and generate a return for farmers. The company is growing rapidly and we are looking for a PRESIDENT who can grow the business for the long term.

As President you will have three main responsibilities. First, is to develop and oversee the go-to-market strategy. The size of this unexploited market makes this a very exciting and lucrative opportunity. Second, is to develop and lead the Management team. And third is General Management of the business. 

To be considered, you must have a solid understanding and demonstrated track record of sales and marketing in the agriculture industry; preferably in one or more of the following market segments: crop nutrition, micro-nutrients, bio stimulants, seed treatments, soil health enhancers, crop protection or seed. Our ideal candidate has a passion for soil health and embraces regenerative/sustainable ag practices. You appreciate that if the soil is healthier the farm will be more successful. You must have team development and leadership experience.   Experience in a role where you had financial responsibility for corporate or divisional P & L is required.
