Our client is one of the largest crop protection and seed companies in the world. Their product line is well known and very highly regarded. Their customers are eager to do business with them. They have one of the best technology pipelines (seed genetics and crop protection) in the industry. They require one Regional Sales Manager to manage the area West of Saskatoon and another to manage the area East of Saskatoon. 

As the new Regional Sales Manager, you will have three main responsibilities. Most importantly you will focus on sales coaching, and developing your eight-person team. You will coach their performance, help them succeed in their sales role, and foster their career development. Developing promotable Sales Reps is part of your job. Your next priority will be customer satisfaction. You will work closely with your reps to meet your customers needs, and you will be the regional contact for the line companies in your area. Flowing from well-coached Sales Reps, and satisfied customers is your third responsibility. You will take advantage of opportunities to grow your business and increase POG.

To be considered, you absolutely must have agricultural sales experience and a good understanding of the market channel, (seed or crop protection products). You understand how growers and ag retailers make decisions. We are looking for a manager who can plan ahead and guide the sales team from season to season. Experience coaching people is a definite asset. You must live somewhere in your region.
